We weren't satisfied with the Miranda cards out there. So we built a better one.
The Miranda Quick Reference is designed for real-world use by law enforcement officers who need a simple, durable, and complete Miranda tool on-hand. Printed on tough 30mil 3x5 hard PVC plastic (the size of a standard index card, with the thickness of a standard credit card), it's weatherproof, wipeable and purpose-built for patrol.
Front: The standard Miranda warning, allowing officers to read directly from the card for consistency and to prevent omissions. Used with a Sharpie, the card can also serve in a pinch as a written waiver by having the suspect initial or sign directly after the waiver. The signature can be documented, wiped clean with an alcohol-based wipe, and the card is immediately ready for the next use.
Back: A compact legal reference covering Miranda requirements, exceptions, and key case law. All backed with Supreme Court citations!
Corner hole punch with included paracord loop allows for quick pull access from a vest pocket or pouch. Paracord is removable for officers who prefer alternative carry options.
Why 3x5?
We didn’t make the Miranda card wallet-sized for a simple reason: nobody uses wallet cards in the real world. Officers aren’t going to stop mid-interview, pull out a wallet, and start fishing around for a tiny card.
Instead, we built the Miranda card at 3x5, perfectly sized for vest pockets, duty bags, cargo pants, and quick-access pouches. The card is large enough to read instantly under stress, easy to grab with gloves on, and always accessible when you actually need it. Each card includes a built-in quick pull tab for fast, one-handed access.
