The Thermal Relief System (TRS) is a portable vest-mounted personal cooling device designed to reduce heat buildup underneath duty vests during extended wear. The TRS is built around an integrated high-performance fan and airflow nozzle that delivers cooling air across the torso. The nozzle hangs over the top edge of an external body armor carrier and channels airflow downward behind the vest, dispersing air laterally out both sides as well as directly toward the torso to provide optimal cooling, helping reduce trapped heat and prevent excess moisture accumulation. The TRS can be mounted and dismounted in seconds, giving officers flexibility in how they choose to use it.

The TRS is compatible with both concealed and exterior vests. It can be used simply by tucking the nozzle behind the top of the vest. For users who want additional stability or a more secure mounting solution, optional MOLLE and Velcro clip accessories are available. These allow secure attachment to plate carriers, chest rigs, and other load-bearing equipment while allowing easy installation and removal of the TRS.
