Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE) trains officers to identify drug-impaired drivers using three additional sobriety tests. This 3×5 card (the size of a standard index card) gives you a quick way to document impairment indicators in the field and complements our SFST Quick Reference Card.
The front walks you through the Lack of Convergence, Modified Romberg, and Finger-to-Nose tests with clear checkboxes for recording observations. The back organizes the seven drug categories with key indicators and examples so you can connect what you see to possible causes of impairment.
The reference card is made of thick, 30mil hard PVC plastic (the same thickness as a credit card) and is reusable with wet-erase or permanent marker and wipes clean using an alcohol-based wipe. Each card includes a pre-threaded paracord lanyard that threads through the corner hole, allowing you to pull it from a vest pocket quickly.
