DUI Quick Reference

The DUI Checklist Quick Reference Card  is a 3x5 reference card (the size of a standard index card) that incorporates the driving cues identified in NHTSA's Visual Detection of DWI Motorists guide and the NHTSA DWI/SFST Participant Manual (2023). It gives officers a practical way to document Phase One and Phase Two observations using terminology recognized throughout the DUI enforcement community.

Officers can quickly check off observed driving behaviors, document post-stop observations, and create a clear record of the facts that led them to continue the investigation. When combined with our SFST Quick Reference and ARIDE Quick Reference Cards, it provides a convenient way to document each phase of a DUI investigation.

All reference cards are made of thick, 30mil hard PVC plastic (the same thickness as a credit card). They are reusable with wet-erase or permanent marker and wipe clean using an alcohol-based wipe. 

Each card includes a pre-threaded paracord lanyard that threads through the corner hole, allowing you to pull it from a vest pocket quickly.
